This time we show you this small but lovely penthouse situated on a quiet street but close to the beach, train station and amenities. A perfect location for anyone who likes to spend their holiday without a car.
The building was built about 10 years ago so the apartment was not in a bad condition. But it needed some work to make it better and nicer in several ways.
The kitchen was in a small corner where it was impossible to cook. And the kitchen did not have an oven nor dishwasher because there was no space for those.
The apartment was too brown and sad.
There was a lot of natural light so no need to knock down any walls.
The wooden doors were ok but gave the apartment an old fashioned look.
First the planning and applying the license from the town hall and then the demolition! 
The kitchen was completely removed so that we could make it more spacious and practical.
The old fashioned arches from the ceiling were removed.
We wanted to make the apartment a modern and practical home for a couple.
And of course we finished the project by furnishing the apartment as well as buying all the equipment the owner needed to be able to move in (bedlinen, dishes, etc…).
We changed the distribution of the kitchen for an L-shape so it became much more spacious and we could fit in the oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer.
The small corner where the kitchen was originally situated, was closed and we put an entrance to that space from the other side of the wall. Like this we got a small but very handy utility space for washing maschine and cleaning equipment, etc.
The bedroom has a small working space if needed to contact the outer world.
There is a walking closet in the bedroom.
The old fashioned, dull and boring apartment became a modern, open, light, spacious, like-new (holiday)home.
This apartment has become one of the most favourite rental apartments we have and the tenants keep coming back one time after an other.
